Hello, I’m DeWayne Cabel!
I have been training dogs now for over 3 years. I found this passion of mine after serving in the United States Navy for 21.5 years as a Chief Gunners Mate and Weapons Instructor. Everything in life gives you skills. I still use a lot of my skills from the Navy in dog training and helping others with their dogs. I have had the opportunity to work with many different dogs with different behavioral issues. I enjoy training dogs and love helping owners work with them to lead to the best relationship possible.
I am married and we have three beautiful daughters. We are a really active family. I spend a lot of time watching my two oldest girls play competitive soccer and my youngest do Taekwondo. Everything we do, we do it as a family. I love bringing my training dogs to all the family activities. We also own 4 dogs as well. A German Shepherd who is training to do Search And Rescue. I also have two 6-year-old Cane Corsos and a 9-month-old Great Dane. We also own guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, and chickens. My entire family has a love for animals.
Building a relationship that is unbreakable between you and your dog is key. It’s invaluable. I love the challenge of figuring out what makes a dog engage and thrive. Once I figure this out, I can build trust and work with the dog. All dogs are different and need a different approach to reach the end goal. I’m excited to get the opportunity to work with you and your dog.
