Our family has done a lot of fostering and re-homing of foster dogs. I have a lot of experience with working on getting foster dogs reintegrated with an adopted family successfully. Getting matched up appropriately to your family needs as well as the dogs needs is key. We’ve found that 9 times out of 10 families try to accelerate the integration too fast and do not give the dog enough time to settle in.
